Elizabeth Akanbi-Ogabi is the founder of For Working Ladies and also a freelance digital communications and brand consult.
She started her career in communications started out in Unilever where she learnt the fundamentals of PR and corporate communications, she later went on to manage branding and communications for a global investment bank. After 5/6 years in the corporate world, Elizabeth started freelancing and consulting female entrepreneurs around branding, digital communications and PR. During this period, she also founded For Working Ladies as she saw a need to share advice to women around difficult career topics and issues entrepreneurs were facing.
Elizabeth dedicates her work to voicing the stories of diverse, intelligent women, and rallies her network and beyond to be supportive of one another – especially on the subject of women founders.
